I made this shit in 2000 one of my friends found it and decided to sahre it all over!

I understand that this is a work of fiction. I just hope you're aware that the sun is not scheduled to supernova in 15 billion years, or even at all; It is not nearly massive enough. Instead it will gradually expand to roughly the orbit of Mars, becoming a red giant, until it fades away into a brown, then eventually black dwarf star. This process should begin in roughly 6 billion years.

Anyway, your animation is fair, I just didn't see much point or story to this. Other than maybe a metaphorical reason to hold a grudge against science? Because a few people can have very large, far reaching, bad ideas? Hate the player, not the game.

wrattie responds:

Yes , this is 100% fiction and i want to thank for for setting me streight about our sun going nova. In the future I will actually do alittle bit of research before just throwing something out there that isn't at least semi factual .

Hey Rudy! Glad to see you back! Seeing your name instantly brought memories of Tom Fulp parody movies, which I will now re-watch (By the way 'All the Same' still hits hard, even today.)

Though this was a strange juxtaposition of beloved Disney movie and beloved holiday, it really worked! The lyrics didn't feel forced at every turn, as most parodies do. As for your singing - not too shabby at all, sir. Your animation and artwork continue to improve! I'll be looking forward to your future work.

Rudy responds:

Thank you sir! I appreciate the review. It's my first animation getting back into the swing of things since 2010 or so. I'm glad you still enjoy my animations and remember me! That's great! Well, I should have more flicks coming out soon, so hope to hear from ya again!

Amazing. I feel like this embodies clock day '13. I enjoyed your style, great animation, short and sweet. Loved it!

I wish you had used the official clock day loading screen, but I don't care enough for this utterly minor objection to diminish my vote.

Happy Clock Day!

biblo responds:

I did use the official Clock Day loading screen...

This is good.

Being 24 years old, I've kind of outgrown the target audience of this flash, but in reality, I haven't. I've come to these conclusions some 10 years ago, but you've put it together in a very complete and concise way that is far better that I could have if asked these types of questions on the spot. In reality though, this is always the case. It goes from being clicks in school to economic, religious and political standings, which is just as bad. I don't think it'll ever get better, people as a whole are just too dumb.

I feel I should mention that Star Wars, video games, comic books, etc. IS the popular thing now. When I was about 16 or 17 these things started being made into movies by the dozens and popping up so much that if you WEREN'T a fan of Halo or what have you, you were the odd one out. That's not to say that you're point is any less valid, it's just that the status quo is shifting around some.

There's probably a lot to be desired about your flash skills, but I really like this style, and it fit very much with the subject matter. So, overall, thumbs up. And, I'm sad to say, it never gets better. Smile!

Indigno-Studios responds:

Oh, I know these things. Star Trek, however, still isn't generally mainstream.

And yes, I know the flash is lacking, that's the point. I'm actually working on another short right now using pen and paper animation. I'm experimenting with this style a bit.

Amazing

Incredible production value. It's every classic game genre rolled in to one huge, stinking turd. Great premise, great movie. I applaud you.

aap responds:

One huge, stinking turd! Did you actually smell the turd?

This looks amazing

I generally frown on trailers for flash animation. It's not like they're very long or anticipated enough to warrant a preview. However you have quite an exception here. This trailer is masterfully crafted, and seems to show clips from several upcoming episodes, at least I hope. The story looks great, your art style is fresh, the animation smooth, and the gore looks like it's going to be dumped on us in large quantities - always a plus. I must admit I'm excited for your upcoming films, and will be looking for what you have to offer in the future.

Comick responds:

Thanks man for the kind words! I appreciate you gave the preview a chance, and in the end liked it too! :D

An Incredible Movie

This is defnitely one of the best Clock Day submissions I've had the pleasure of viewing, out of any year. Moody, dark, brilliantly animated a very deep. The fact that it featured clocks I would think would take away from the atmosphere, but this turned out to be a wonderful combination. I hope to see a lot more of your work in the future.

PropagandaClock responds:

I am glad you enjoyed it ! If you haven't you can watch Cog of Man, it has the same style and "story".

Happy post-Clockday !
The ClockCrew loves all.

That does sound like a terrible day

About my last review; seems I thought your cousin was your son, and that he was taking about his age when he said the "8th level" my apologies. I realized both of these were not true afterwards. How foolish of me.

Another great child-like animation, short, but satisfying. I think you should just have him make up stories and see what comes out. The possibilities are endless.

slowz responds:

lol ty. I tired teaching him how to use a mic and send me files, but, he tries to break it everytime. A little ball of energy.

Young kids, in all their glory.

Great flash, and a wonderful topic to base it off of. I remember reviewing some things not too long ago that I wrote and drew when I was very young, somewhere around the "8th level", -which, by the way, was hilarious in itself- and all I could do was laugh my ass off. The things that I created seem so bizarre and different now that I have reached an age that seemed so far off at the time. It just shows how different the mind, and world for that matter, works when you're a child. But back to your movie. Everything fit perfectly. The music, the animation, the art style, you made it really look like your son drew it. The sound quality was also fantastic. Most flash animators could learn a thing or two about story-telling from your son, irony at its best. I hope you and your son continue making these.

slowz responds:

Yay... honor getting review by you! Actually i'm only 14, I haven't had secks. :( Hes my 6 year old cousin. But, your review almost brought a tear to my eye. Marked "helpful" for great justice! :) <3
